We’re Ready To Serve You. We’re Ready To Know You.

As we work to build a long-term relationship with each of our clients, it’s important that we understand every goal they set forth as part of their new-found purpose and retirement vision. As we meet and talk more, we also want clients to understand the motivations and values behind our team, how we work and how we live.

David Cain

Founder

“This is not a Monday through Friday deal.”
– David Cain

For David, the key to lasting relationships is communication. He aims to respond to phone calls and emails in a matter of minutes and works to never put a clock on clients, giving them access whenever needed — often even including a personal cellphone call on a Saturday. David holds a Series 65 Securities License and takes a holistic approach to the insurance products and services he offers to clients. It’s this level of communication that allows David to build trust and long-term relationships.

As a financial advisor, David works to help develop strategies that meet the planning, income and Social Security needs of his clients along with all aspects of wealth management. He has been part of the financial services industry since 1986. As owner of an independent firm, David also hires and trains his staff and, along with his wife, Kathy, oversees the day-to-day operations of the company.

David has been a resident of North Texas for more than 37 years. He and Kathy live in Lucas. They have three grown daughters and a granddaughter. They also have 3 boxers Ivy, Lucas, and Everett. When he’s not at the office, David enjoys gardening, fishing, pheasant hunting in South Dakota, golfing and cooking. David and Kathy are devout in their Christian faith and service.

Kathy Cain

Founder, Operations Manager

“Much like David, I pride myself on being available for our clients when they need us.”
– Kathy Cain

With 25-plus years of experience in facilities management for large corporations, Kathy has mastered the ins and outs of managing people and their workplaces. At Cain Financial Solutions, she keeps the business running smoothly by being efficient, organized and building trust. “When I tell clients I’m going to take care of something, I do that,” Kathy shares. “If I hit a snag along the way, I communicate with them and don’t leave them hanging.”

Kathy and her husband, David Cain, started the firm in 2014. She began working part time at the business seven years ago, helping David with evening seminars, while keeping her day job in facilities management. She quickly learned she enjoyed getting to know clients on a personal level, learning about their families, hobbies and interests. Kathy touches every aspect of the “people side” of the business from scheduling seminars and client appointments to office check-in and scheduling follow-ups and client reviews. She also feels gratified to have helped found an organization that has helped hundreds of families achieve their financial goals and realize their retirement dreams.

Kathy and David live in Lucas, Texas, and have three adult daughters, one granddaughter and 3 boxers. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening and cooking. She enjoys fishing with David but says she wouldn’t call herself a fisherman!
